Ya, generally if someone has a medical emergency as a direct result of another’s actions, and that medical emergency kills them, the other person is charged with murder, or at least manslaughter
A good example is a high profile case of a man who created a medical emergency for himself by doing too much fentanyl, but it was argued (effectively so in my opinion) that another man kneeling on his neck exacerbated that medical condition to the point of the man dying. The person kneeling on his neck was charged and convicted of murder

For example, if my aunt watches the trial of Derrick Chavin and is distressed, and then has a heart attack a week later, is Derrick also responsible for another murder?
