Oh so the UI theyre using on Green is technically classic then
As close as we could get the titanium client. The real tragedy is the bags are supposed to say ITEMS on them but I got that graphic working the night before green launch after like 2 weeks of failed ideas so I scrambled to get that in.

I was so stoked, then I saw that I left out that incredibly important detail.

Also a few other titanium client things (the like, multi tab window thingy, pressed buttons not having an image to display, unique button text instead of the black text.)

We had to basically helicopter secrets in last minuet to change those from white to black too, that was a bit of a fricken production nightmare we were all freaking out about.

We came super close to green not having the stone buttons because with the white text on them you couldn't read them at all.

Also nobody says thanks for the photoshoped spellbook, technically I should have hidden 4 spell slots but I didnt want to be too evil to you ingrates.

Those are my stories!

Hey now, I appreciate that spellbook and you know it! I thought, and still think, you, Wenai, and the others managed to do a tremendous amount of excellent work in a very short time. I do not miss the 3 AM night shifts!

Hopefully someone can pick up "round 2" of this interface and figure out things like the merchant window, trainer screen, etc. Any ideas of how you could do those? I can't see how they could be made to work on a client that also allows for many resolutions due to the lack of element scaling. The original game only allowed a handful of resolution choices and packaged a separate version of the interface for each one; we don't have that luxury here. When it used elements that did not scale, they shrunk the entire viewport, and I don't think we can control that either?

Now that the sleeper has been awakened I would personally love to see Blue merge with Green. Then again, some people just want to watch the world burn....

I'd love to see the stamina system properly implemented. Asking for "zing's" and caring about weapon weight was part of the balance.

Man I wish I could play beastlords here. P99 would be perfect for me if I could access beastlords, even if we could not finish epic, due to some mobs in the quest chain being in luclin.

I miss my beastlord so much ... I played him last time on live before covid, but at level 100+ I could not recognize EQ anymore, live is so weird these days.

Like a gazillion AAs, disciplines and a lot of other things that confused the hell out of me.

Played for a bit, leveled some more , but with Mercenaries on top it was just too much.

It was no longer eq, but playing them here, like regular quarter monks with a solid pet that procs dd and some shammy buffs with mana regen wow.

I have always loved solo classes in eq, and the beastlord was a solid boy. Miss my scaled wolf [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Some of the item skins in the game have always really bothered me. There is no reason a named blade from a dragon's treasure horde should look the same as one being carried around by a lvl 1 decaying skeleton!

Always thought this would be a fun way to explore lore of items and see what sort of community formed around the task because we have some really talented artist and programmers in this community and in the emu in general.

fun post, cheers

I’d like to see magic attacks only roll against AC on magic armour. As in they go thru mundane AC like jelly.

So high ac non magic items like azure sleeves, targishin’s mask and similar items are great against orcs and giants but not good against ghouls and elementals.

Don't we already kind of have that in terms of resist levels? That's basically supposed to be your magic AC

oh i mean magic armours should be able to mitigate well against magic weapons, but magic weapons should cut through mundane armour like it isn't even there.
