Relive the Classic Everquest Experience as it was from 1999 to 2001. Project 1999 is a free to play Classic Everquest Server, unaffiliated with Daybreak Game Company but operating under legal permission. Our goal is to restore the magic and difficulty of the original Everquest game, including the mechanics, interface, and challenges of Original Content, Kunark, and Velious. Project 1999 is the most popular and most accurate reincarnation of Old School Everquest.

Project 1999 Community,
There are various reasons why we all made the decision to play Project 1999. Whether it is reliving Classic EverQuest, the community, an escape from real life, or ability to adventure with friends and family from around the world. That said, real life politics or other sources of contention do not belong on any platform managed by CSR Staff which includes but is not limited to in-game communication, posts on the Project 1999 forums, and discord channels. Disciplinary actions will include suspensions as well as permanent account bans.

As a reminder, hate speech, racism and bigotry targeting real-life groups have no place on Project 1999’s official communication channels. This includes in-game communication, on the Project 1999 forums, as well as any discord channels managed by the Project 1999 staff. There is no excuse for this type of behavior, and confirmed reports will be met with discipline, up to and including permanent account bans.
