Right click not working on chat box?

Right click works on everything in game, but i can't right click the chat box...all i want to do is change opacity...any help?

yes, this has been going on for a while. i was just always too lazy to try to fix it. the thing is that the right click works on my other characters, but for this particular one it won't work...really frustrating.

you have to right click at the top of the chat box where it says main chat or chat 1 or whatever.

If it's working on another character, make the change on the UI of the character that is working, then copy the UI over to the character that is not working.

After making the change in game, search your computer for UI_workingcharactername_project1999.ini

Copy the file to your desktop. While on your desktop, rename the file to UI_brokencharactername_project1999.ini

Move it into your EQ folder. It will ask if you want to write over, say yes.

I suspect just deleting your UI_brokencharactername_project1999.ini would also fix the problem, but then you have to start from scratch with your preferred UI set up.

trust me, i've tried...as i mentioned before, the right click command works on my other characters, meaning that i have had experience with it before.

Where is that option?

alt+O and that option is somewhere in the second tab. I don't have EQ running atm.
