Red/White Dragon Tooth
Say you have one of these bad boys lying around and were thinking of the most efficient way to possibly utilize it. What would you do?
Make an iksar shaman > Level to 7 on your own > run to OT and pop it? Make a human warrior > Level to #? > run to? What in your opinion is essentially the best possible use for it?

1) make sure you have a stable internet connection.
2) make friends with a shaman, cleric, druid that's high level that can heal your pet. 3) go ham.

Do you mean that the most efficient way to use it is if you have someone PLing you while you're PLing yourself with it? lol

Find a second person with one and PL together. the pet takes 50% exp solo anyways unless grouped, so you may as well go at it with a second person and pet for the same exp.

Get for your pet:
Muzzle of Mardu (free haste) - or a Jumpy Robe (20% more haste for 2-3k) Deadwood Staves (extra lifetap heals) Using it on a healing class is likely ideal, since the biggest downtime will be healing the pet. You also want to wait until you have some core abilities. IE Priests want level 8 to get Meditate. Buy up all the important spells 8-40. Namely heals/buffs/utilty stuff. Be cautious with pulls dont overextend yourself cause you only get 1 shot with the pet.

Thanks that's helpful. In regards to zone, is Overthere essentially the best if you were to start at say level 8 like you mentioned?

dald and cath are right on both counts, it works very well. OT has the widest level range of mobs, you can get to 50 there if you really want it.
