Went through Oasis earlier and pretty much all I saw at orc highway was pullers looking at other pullers, followed by a piranha style frenzy as one spawned and they all raced to tag it.
I'm sure it wasn't that bad everywhere though, nice to see both communities thriving.

The bards, God, damn the Bards.
Why does it say 1812 players on blue on the front page. In game it says 1607 players with /who all count?

Interesting. Several main reasons for this. One is that server pop has been on the rise since p1999 was officially recognized, dispelling worries of a cease and desist coming down on the server. Second is the growing number of people realizing that the progression servers are not classic servers. Whether that line is drawn at Freeport or at monk fist and mage pet power levels. Third is the polarizing issue of boxing on live servers and how differently it is approached here versus live. Fourth is the dated velious release, drawing old timers back in prep for winter.

1941!! new record as per the eq emulator site. I think with velious around the corner, the nod from daybreak and double exp weekend it has caused a huge influx of players the last week or so.
