Absolutely no in-game content.

Terrible video.

Turn me into a GM and I will put some in-game content in the video (that way I can focus on getting good video). Also how the hell am I suppose to include in-game content on a beta server that averages 20 people a day...

MMMmkay. While that was pretty good work it is missing anything that will attract people to play the server besides words that come on screen in unusual ways. Instead try less words and add in video of actual pvp in. Just a suggestion =)

Smedy has made some great ones for vztz you can do a search for on YouTube, to get some ideas or an example.

Promo vid is a must before launch IMO

Na, im done...as you can see I got great video editing skills and have potential but too many assholes here...no matter what you do, negativity to the max. People need to realize that nobody but the GMs can get the in-game content needed for a promo video.

Wow I don't think anyone was being overly rude to you at all. You posted a red99 promo video in the pvp section for us to review and critique right? Everyone's general review states you should add in pvp footage into the mix. My suggestion is to search for eq pvp vids and stick random stuff in to at least catch the viewers eye. Imagine how boring Bf3 would seem if all you could see about it was words on a screen...

it was designed for in-game content to be placed into it...im not sure how any of you failed to grasp that...what pissed me off is that everyone knows that only GMs have access to the in-game content good enough to make an awesome promo video. Think about it a second...who can instantly port to any spot, in any zone, and capture a mob...not your average player. This is common sense...you should have not expected in-game footage. Also taking into consideration the Beta server averages less than 30 people or so...(many of these are multi boxing)...out of the 30 about 50% are 41-50 - this really limits PVP footage. But once again, it all comes back to only a GM/Develper (or someone with access to the in-game GM commands) can capture that awesome footage needed to make a promo stand out.

My common sense tells me that if I was good at something, like video editing, I would not post something that is supposed to have game footage in it and not expect people to bombard it with flames. Posting anything that is half done with no communication or script to warn people that they are watching something that is basically unfinished, is not good.

Either way good luck with it, will check back to see it finished sometime.
