A Frost Giant Scout - loot table
I have taken down about 40 of A Frost Giant Scout in Ice Clad Ocean and I have not seen Frost Giant Toes yet drop. There is one post that says he killed 13 and hadn't seen the drop yet, but I would think by 40 I would have seen them drop at least once.
They are on the loot table for the scouts in the historical Allakhazam: http://web.archive.org/web/200104262....shtml?id=5386 Interestingly I did see a research words drop, and for some reason I remember that research drops were added later to velious, not at release. Anyone else have a recollection? Thank you

frost giant scouts in great divide and east wastes should drop toes. The ones in iceclad should not, according to my research.
That page lumps them all together as one npc. Unless there is a quote I'm missing, I think this is working as intended. | ||

I've slain about 50 frost giant scouts now in the great divide with no toes dropping. Is it just really rare? I have gotten a helmet, couple beards, and several heads, however.
Edit 2: I was back killing in the great divide tonight after the patch and had some toes finally drop, 3 of them back to back of course. They're there. | ||
