Default Bard Solo Artist's Challenge

We've all seen the shaman with strings go nuts, enchanters take down huge cash camps, monks soloing Ragefire... what are the most heroic bards capable of!?

can solo some dragons in WW, but so can others.
Can solo the named wyrms in BW.
Can run around SG and /dance without worry.
Can solo entire zones of mobs....
I don't know, I'm sure someone can chime in with lots more.

IMO though, they really shine in a duo.

Would be awesome to start something...

I believe we need someone who's done some impressive shit to start to make a list?

There are some impressive kills you can get just by charming roamers into a big one, over and over. Always depends on summons/ability to keep your health up in between.

If it doesn't summon or out-regen chants, you can solo it.

If you can reliably mez it, you could melee/dot/whatever it and mez lock while slowly regening.

If there are mobs you can charm and send against you can kill it. Summoning mobs would make this difficult.

If you can charm IT and send it against other mobs - again you can kill it.

Basically if it summons you'll have a hard time. With great gear and expendables, the number of trophy mobs possible goes way up - but still nowhere close to what a shaman or ench can pull off.

Bard with puppet strings could probably pull off some nice kills.

Problem with sending charmed pets at something often is agro. After your first charmed mob dies, your subsequent pets won't get agro. Not classic btw, as it ruins swarm kites.

I've tried yeldema after reading that some bards have solo'D WW dragons. I'm guessing it's possible, but painfulllly slow. I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if you knew a spot with decent fear pathing.

Earlier into Velious I tried soloing the Myga PH with and failed miserably but it's been a while I should mess around with some WW dragons and some other good stuff!

Bards are pretty cool in terms of some stuff like solo'ing whole zones or completing quest objections on their own... I'll have to see what I can do!

May or may not be considered 'difficult', but soloing the Ice Burrowers in Western Wastes takes about 12-17 minutes per burrower, not bad for the occasional loot and experience though!
