Default New player advice

Hello all, I am starting a dwarf paladin on green server. Any advice? Good gear to work for?

Do the bone chip quest in kaladim to get some gear, xp and a bit of money. Save money to buy a set of banded armor (around 90 pp) whenever you can. Read the wiki to find answers and enjoy the game.

As another recommended--hunt Decaying Skeletons outside Kaladim for their bonechips, hand in sets of 4 to the guy asking for them in the Paladin's guild. This experience is amazing up to level 9 I think it is.

Aviak Chick talons are also a quest found in the Paladin's guild and also provide good experience, harder to do than the bone chip quest, but once you're level 4 or 5 off bone-chips and hunting scarabs/spiders/aviaks this should be easier.

This'll also provide a decent amount of starter gear for you.

Past that, once you get to about level 11 or 12, you can start easily camping Zarchoomi / Corflunk to hand their heads in for some dope Bloodforge gear to someone in the Warrior's guild (Byzar Bloodforge). However, if you just save up your money, you can buy Banded which is mostly better barring maybe the head piece.

If you want to spend the time raising your reputation with the Gemcutters in Ak'anon, you can also do the Red V quest for the Bull Smasher, which is a powerful 1hb weapon that'll last you awhile.
