Server has had an extremely low population for the past couple months, averaging about - 10 players a week until it has stabilized with an average of 14 players and a prime time of 23 (at least 20 being a single guild raiding sky)

Lot of fun early on. Lots of stuff to compete over, lots of pvps were had. Many 50s by late December/early January, and they spread through several guilds at first, but most ended up moving to either Nihilum or Holocaust by January.

Nilly and Holo had some epic fights, with Holo generally besting Nilly. Then Holo got caught exploiting Nagafen and was suspended. Nihilum successfully killed Naggy and Vox during this time (salt in the wound), and Holo, angry with their suspension, began their partial boycott of the server. Many of the Holo members came back after suspension, and though some victories were had, they ultimately were defeated. With each loss, morale of "og" Holo and other self proclaimed box pvp superstars was at an all time low. Unable to cope with ever seeing their toons lie motionless in the wake of such "inferior" opposition, more Holocaust left every day to boycott the server they were losing. They mostly engaged full time in "forum pvp" where they trashed everything good about the server, and all those still playing on it.

Founding Fathers rose up in the ranks just after plane of fears release, and took the number 2 spot from Holo who virtually disappeared after being wrecked in fear several times by Nihilum, as well as layed out fighting over Naggy. With better leadership, solidarity, and a policy of helpfulness within the guild, FF brought a more positive image to the "hardcore pvp" crowd. Once they leveled and recruited the remaining Holo (admittedly, a mistake in hindsight), they mustered some successful skirmishes over the stronger Nihilum until finally able to field 20+ lvl 50s for contesting raid content. They claimed brief victory for a week or two over Nihilum in hate and sol b. Nihilum made a come back days later and wrecked many faces, and with the addition soreness from failing to kill Naggy after winning rights to him, FF also succumbed to sorrow of crushed egos and hurt pride, and ventured off for ez69 where they could once again call themselves champions of something.

Throughout the life of the box, population has steadily declined for numerous reasons, but mostly because a niche population has been disappointed in the server features (xp rates, classic gameplay) and the GM decisions (bans for training, exploiting, boxing, cheating), so they have taken it upon themselves to punish everyone else making the server and forums a hostile and unpalatable environment for new players as well as the staff that brought us this great server. This sentiment has plagued the server for months until recently where mighty guide Ambrotos has stepped in to clean things up.

In addition, players have obviously found it hard to stay occupied with only classic content, being that it can be largely completed in under 2 months. Here 8 months later, this same post-legacy content is stale as ever, and mostly only the victorious remain to conquer bawses with raid forces smaller than anyone previously thought possible.

forgot the part where holocaust was banned/deleted for doing what nihilum had been doing for weeks and the part where rogean went MIA to play star wars and never patch the server and amelinda turned into a power hungry idiot who knows nothing of moderating a pvp server

Like how Area led the server in kills on vztz but my naked druid portbot always made him run for the hills
