Default Low Playtime? Why RED is for you!

After my playtime took a large hit I started messing around on Red. There is a lot of doom and gloom on the boards concerning Red but for low-playtime folks I can't imagine a much better place to play.

Faster EXP - Have you tried Red since the latest exp changes? It might not suit the "I want to be 50 in a day crowd" but it is much faster than blue. I enjoy being able to make real progress on my character in short windows of time.

Raid on YOUR Schedule - Want to raid but have designated times you can play each week? On Red you can always raid. Even if all the mobs are down you can still grab a few buddies and engage in group PvP. Would you rather corner a dragon and kill it no differently than you have the previous 50 times or engage other live players in a dynamic experience that changes each and every time?

BoTB Everyday - Ambrotos has done a great job with the BoTB on blue. It's fun to watch and it's even more fun to seek the sense of accomplishment and respect that comes from vanquishing others in the arena. You have the chance to do that everyday on Red.

Generally Good Peeps - When I first tried Red upon launch I left because frankly it was filled with people I didn't want to spend my time playing with. However it appears most of those folks have moved on. As a general rule the folks who are left want to see the server succeed and are eager to lend a helping hand to those starting out. Vae Victis is gathering up a group of newcomers and leveling up as a guild and I know there are other folks looking to do likewise.

Now it's certainly not all roses on Red. With the low population its tough to find groups at present and I can't imagine how difficult it must be leveling a low level melee. But if you're looking for a place to spend your limited playtime I'd encourage you to give Red a try.

These are nice, but not great.

I could say the same things about Live and they'd all be true.

Couldn't imagine it being so low, I spent an hour or more a day trying to persuade people not to play a video game they enjoy. How meaningless your existence must be...

Should probably just end it all.
