all the above never happened, but should have. TMO easily could have avoided all this mess had any of those lines of chat been typed into /guild and someone with authority act on them.

I would wager that nearly all the Class R guilds ( if put in the same situation) would have had communication along the lines of what I just typed as the hypothetical guild chat that should occurred.
