Been gaming since Pong in the 70's.

Without a doubt, EverQuest.

Beyond that the hall of fame (just off the top of my head and in no particular order):

Myth and Myth 2
Ancient Art of War at Sea (amazing for its time)
Empire Earth (the peak of RTS games imo)
Empire Deluxe (amazing for it's time)
Marathon and Marathon 2
the Avalon Hill WW2 games circa '94 that could be played via email
Civilization and the first couple sequels
Warlords and Warlords 2. (first one caused me to rediscover gaming)
DAoC
Skyrim
GTA5
Assassin's Creed and sequels
Borderlands and Borderlands 2
Ghost Recon (the original is still my fav shooter to date but didn't like them since)
the first several Rainbow 6 games where you could automate the action and make it totally about planning assaults

Target Renegade (ZX Spectrum) - arguably the first Double Dragon clone? Got this at the age of 6 (thanks parents lol, don't mind me while i beat the shit out of people with a hammer/pool cue/etc), one of my old favourites.

for me, they werethe ones i played the mostas a kid. i like the nostalgia factor of FF VII, os course EQ. and as an "adult" i liked very much assasins creed saga (specially AC II) and dragon age, just the first one, did not care for II
