was kinda funny(for me), logged in and immediately saw the broadcast "server coming down in 15 minutes". I was like 'What the....." lol. Didn't know people were losing the characters though, glad they are fixing it as quickly as they are. Never see this kind of support from the big companies, now this is a service I would gladly pay for lol

@nuggie I don't know how they have everything set up, but basically the attacker would be sending malicious data packets to the server from a program that is not the EQ client.
