This is technically true, but I thought the goal of any legitimate PVP server/game was to make it so that time invested was not directly correlated with success in PVP?

As it stands now, our correlation is very high, like .96.

WOW has tried, somewhat successfully, to eliminate PVE affecting PVP. Maybe it isn't possible here?

In Everquest, you had to PvE to be good in PvP. If you did not have decent PvE gear, then you were usually not killing people unless you were an OP class. This game takes time an effort, why shouldn't you be rewarded for putting in more time than others? This game is 10x easier than Live was. Hell, try figuring out how to do half the quests in the game without reading it online to find out what drops are from where.

We schedule Trak, log in and kill him within an hour. The only time this did not happen is when some other guild took 5 hours to kill him at 5:45 am and we were forced to push his spawn time to a time which worked well with our work times.

I was going to break it down for you but honestly once I re read it It made less sense. Might want to make your statements more clear in the future.
