so if you make 50 million in profits, 80% of that goes to a hedge fund where its sucked out of the US economy because thats just what wealthy do with their capital gains. How does that create jobs?

Supporting hedge funds is not protectionist, its against everything you voted for with Trump.

If you can prove that investing in a hedge fund ever imparts actual realized cash gains to the investor, AND that the money hits the US economy (Middle class) in some way, I'd relent.

But you absolutely cannot, because it doesn't happen-- hence the shadow economy's existence in the first place.

Too stupid for words. Sanders spent the better part of a decade viciously attacking (In Sanders fashion) Greenspan over his monetary policy.

I don't believe in any of that. As I said, it was a political calculation to support Sanders. His ideas wouldn't catch on with 50% of the country, there would be no spread of ideology. Americans are smarter than that. And the essentially Republican controlled house and senate would have cockblocked his every move.

He'd start crackdowns on highly un-American activities such as the Wallstreet sham where you hand over billions of your capital in return for paper statements of how much money you made or lost. Its Las Vegas and once you start playing with the hedge funds you never stop. They are toxic shadow economies that should not exist.

You want to invest in a company's stock? You can buy it yourself through a broker directly, or if you insist, a financial manager at Morgan Stanley.

We don't need collusion and the instability that comes with it. Hedge funds aren't allowed to advertise for a reason. They are extremely toxic and only tolerated because of the snake oil (wallstreet) lobby. If hedge funds could post advertisements I'd assume there was nothing wrong with them, but since they can't, its just time to shut them down ala what we have done with casinos nation-wide.
