Sux gun laws are so tight here, went for a shooting range @ Hamilton Island back in January and had a go at various pistols, have to say I loved the .357 magnum out of all the 4 pistols and 2 rifles I fired there.

Would love to own me one of these:

Problem is I need to go to a shooting range monthly for 6 months and join a shooting club before I can legally own one. Sux because you can get guns off the street illegally quite easily, so the gun laws only really protect organised crime and police.

I have a Smith & Wesson .357, older 19-3 model. Hairpin trigger on it is nice to shoot [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah, the hairpin trigger pairs up well with the .357's power and accuracy, makes it a fun shooting range pistol.

First time shooting a pistol @ a range too (although I've done clay disks with a shotgun during a bucks weekend):

Yeah, you can't move them too far to either side, mainly because the shooting range is 11 years and up apparently.
