Was picking a CEO of Exxon-Mobil to head our foreign policy a win for the establishment, globalism, or both?

it depends, but both. Do you like your globalists to be hard working industrious entrepreneurs? or do you want your globalists to be promise making & breaking walking skin suits that pretend they are trying to end poverty but really are after ending free thought.

Well if the corporations have no plans to play ball and aren't going to put money back in the economy, may as well tax additional money with interest rates so they can't get more cheaper.

Makes sense. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

In the 80s, the fed saw a bubble forming and they raised the rate to 18%, which severely inhibited speculative investment.

Even with the increase of 0.25%, isn't the federal rate still under one whole percent?
