He said to add +20 for special mobs (like giants, specters, etc.) and that there were also numerous exceptions. It seems like the exceptions seem more common than the rule.

Anyway, that aside, I'm putting up another video right now, this time a bit shorter one and of the Mines of Nurga.
I was heading to Kaesora to spend a few levels killing the xalgoz area for xp and my HS key piece, but when I was passing through FM omw to FOB I decided I couldn't pass by Nurga and Droga without at least a short(er) video each! Hopefully will get the droga one in tomorrow then move to Kaesora after that. Also, thanks to a fellow enchanter by the name of Brainfreeze, my videos will no longer be full of telescope zoom! I have a Rod of Insidious Glamour now [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yuck. After I hit 42 at least half the goblins in Nurga were green, so I went over to the zone to Droga to check it out. There were still some green goblins in there, though it seemed like more blue ones even right by the nurga/droga zone. But I killed several and the XP seemed notably lower than for dark blues in Nurga... so I went back to the burynai to XP some more before I do Kaesora.
There were three other chanters working on solo XP in nurga this morning! o/ Jacklin and Kornelius and Skyd

go in tha back door at mistmoore.. its the most undercamped spot and the first 5-8 pulls are only 2 mobs each. perfect for a chanter.
other than mistmoore i would recommend for level 30... ToFS

Fuck this "no editting a post after 30 minutes" bullshit. I can't keep an OP up to date in a running thread like this. I did visit TOFS and do the first 3 floors before dying once and remembering that CRs would be a pain in the ass, or I'd have to keep a key corpse. I'm tempted to go back and do the top floors but... eh... key corpses. Blah. Quote:

Well I was in lower guk, being annoyed at the dar's not staying rooted or charmed and at everything ghoul rooting everything all the time (though I managed to not die at all)... trying to figure out where I could get into an XP groove down here... when a friendly dwarf cleric suggested I try the "keep" camp on live side.
And oh man. What a cool spot. Circular room with a ledge around the outer wall, with a little fortress in the middle with 3 levels of froglok shamans and warriors. It's an awesome-looking spot, and I'm excited to XP and do a video here. Unfortunately the pathing is literally the worst shit I have ever seen on p99, ever. Frogs walk up and down the sheer cliff ledge around the room, walk through the walls of the keep, move up and down a floor at a time with just a glitchy flash of green skin. And all the fuckers have SOW too so half the time it looks more like they're teleporting from point to point than hopping. Little shaman wolf pets literally fly through the air as they try to follow their master who is blinking his way between air and ground. I even just had a pet stuck in an endless loop, hopping around in circles because he couldn't figure out how the hell to get to the mob I was trying to sic him on. I've been chilling here for a bit while still only dubious with the frogs to watch the pathers with bind sight and try to figure out my plan of attack, since there are 3-4 frogs per floor of this little fort and the quarters inside induce claustrophobia even when I'm using gnome illusion and I can't really tell when a frog is actually in a spot it will assist the other frogs or when it's just bugging through a wall or what. But regardless, this looks like a fun, nasty little spot to XP and I hope I can figure it out and spend at least a couple levels here. Hoping to do a recording tomorrow.
