Default Can't eat or drink

My toon eats and drinks as the game needs him to, but I cannot force him to eat or drink anything. I only keep foraged foods, so he shouldn't always be full. I'm also not seeing any messages about eating it or being full and not being able to. Right-clicking does nothing to food items, but if I right-click and hold, I still get a description window. Any ideas?

I don't think you can force your character to eat or drink if it is inside of a bag or container. Try putting them directly into an inventory slot before you gorge yourself.

^ What he said.

You get the "cant eat/drink anymore or you'll explode" message when trying to force feed from the inventory, nothing from within bags. It does work - try leaving your food in the bank for a while until you get the hungry/thirsty message, then do it.

There's a reason you had to keep inventory slots open for clickies, because you couldn't click them from inside bags. Same for food/drink.

I agree this is working as intended as far as clicky eating and drinking.

However, I think the game's natural eat/drink rate may be off. I'm not sure what it originally was, but I appear to only be drinking once per game day. Shouldn't it be twice?

I used to be able to eat 5 or more meal items. This server I can barely eat 1. I dont know if I'm always near full or if full doesn't mean as much.

Force eating/drinking isn't even classic.

We'd have it fully disabled if we could, but the client won't allow. Maybe some additional source work can be done for this, but I'm not sure.
