You would buy the game when it's released on faith you'd like it anyway, and risk the same amount of money to do so. If I already know I'm going to buy a game (I don't like every game I've bought) and I can get even the smallest incentive for pre-ordering literally 3 days before the game comes out why wouldn't I do it?

I'll be checking this out for sure. Never played AC, so I'm curious how this game will be.

I love me some Civ 5, hundreds of hours logged there. My Civ of choice is always Germany, anytime I try another Civ I just think I'd be enjoying the game more as Germany. And when I hit Panzers, forget it.

I'd give a multi player red 99 Beyond Earth game a shot if others were interested.

There hasn't been a good Civilization game since Civ 2.

Civ 2 was bad man. Probably the worst of all of them. Civ 1, Civ 5, Civ 4, Civ 3, Civ 2.

This new one has a lot of sci-fi type elements, a whole new "layer" of orbital satellites that can be built, etc. It's gonna be great.
