Seriously though i have always seen monks doing well. I can't stand playing a Bard personally.

Monks beat up bards pretty seriously early on just because of mad DPS advantage.
Later on a bard could easily escape any monk and if the monk keeps chasing the bard the bard can dot him to death. Bards really help groups dominate their opponents. Monks on the other hand can be lethal 1 on 1 in some circumstances and get dominated in others.

monks suck if you go freelancer. youre just a better rogue with your mend and feign
bards are range pvpers, their mele sucks big time without doubleattack so if you wana go mele, be a man and start a paladin [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
