On live I played on Rodcet Nife.
First character was created January 1st, 2000. It was a halfling rogue... don't remember the name. I got level 5 and was stacked from some trolls farming the halfling guards. Ended up wandering around and accidentally ending up in East karana after running from mobs. Died in the Gorge on the way back and started my second character. Second character was a Dwarf cleric. didn't even know how to put spells on the spell bar until level 4. Was on my way back to kaladim from freeport when i fell off the boat and died from something. This caused my 3rd character... Gnome Warrior. got to level 19, died in Lguk trying to trade a crafted breastplate for an EXE axe. Had to go on vacation before i could get my corpse, and he rotted. Lots of random characters here before I finally settled on a Halfling Warrior named Jenfo D'staldo and a Erudite Magician named Raai Bred. Both ended up pretty stacked in PoP era, then I quit after OoW came out. | ||

Back in '99, I think I was playing a lot of stuff on my playstation. DAOC was my first adventure in the MMO landscape, and that was totally by accident. I was working at an EB Games and these 3 kids came in right when we opened to pick up DAOC. We had 4 copies. I sold the first 3, and then held the last one for myself to see what the game was like. I talked my hubby into getting a copy after trying our roommate's Necro just after Kunark launched (hubby had intentionally avoided, because he knew what would happen, lol!). First role was a druid on Luclin, but then we moved to Lanys T'Vyl. Main was Jesof Theastra a Dwarven Cleric and master of the last minute complete heal. Played him for years and was in the guild Clan of Wisdom (Moooo!). Later rolled a wizzie, Laierne Tindo`Merel. So glad to have a classic server to play on....I've never found another MMO that could grab me like EQ did back in the day!!!
