i think its cute that so many people think this change is happening because GuildA or GuildB gets too many kills.

This is only happening because every single raid for the last month or two has ended with PetitionQuest, and the CSR team has actual players that need actual help to deal with.

if it wasn't for the petition quest, and if these folks would have been able not train and/or to respect other people's FTE, we wouldnt even be having these discussions.
SO all we need to do to resolve this is mediate our own disputes? K done.

There were three or more guilds at CT last night. And they all peacefully co-existed.
This didn't happen.

But getting up at 4am to do something requires dedication, something casual people don't have.

The hardcore deserve something for their effort/dedication.
Therapy?

Getting up at 4AM to kill something in 30 seconds to deny it to someone else is probably diagnosable.

Regards.

Wasn't there personally and I don't wanna get into the forumquest back and forth that so many here love -- just wanted to point out it's not all flowers and parties atm...at least according to many in my guild upset about being trained and shit on last night.

You have been able to accomplish something that nobody else has to date.

You have made the "Hardcore" raiders like TMO and FE/IB actually co-exist with each other, and actually present a united front against an opposing force. Instead of every man (guild) for themselves, its now "raiders" vs the "CARE BEAR GIVE US SOMETHING FOR NOTHING SOCIALISTIC ROTATION BASED BULLSHIT PLAYERS"... for that, I have to say thanks!

All the raid guilds have ever done... Track, Prepare, Attack. Anyone should be able to compete in that environment. You may not always win, but everyone has the same chance to compete.

Instead, we're now faced with a 2 tier raid system that seems likely to be the best implementation to make everyone "happy".

You're the same type of parents and kids that required that every child gets a participation trophy, because hey... EVERYONE should get a trophy. The Olympics are coming up, and if Russia doesn't win an event, do you think they're going to threaten to extinguish the torch until they get their medal for participation?

Track, Prepare, Attack... It's what gamers do.
whine, bitch, complain... It's what participants do.

Tier 1 = TPA
Tier 2 = WBC
Rogean taking away mai merb. Waaaaah waaaah.

I was there last night on Romp. Was pretty disappointing all around. At first it sounded like we were going to get a crack at CT, then that was erased. Then we got trained. Maybe next time. We mobilized very quickly, though, so we can be proud of that.
