The Gods Must Be Crazy is a great film. Making it through the first 30 minutes of, "what the hell am I watching?" gets paid off with a great story.

Saw it as a little child in the movie theater with my dad! He loves that movie to this day.

Scarface was an impacting movie for me, I seen it as a kid with my mother. She took me and 2 of my friends! The chainsaw scene. Yikes.

Nightmare on Elm Street was a memorable one. Freddie Kruger and all.

Re-animator!

This has to be one of my favorites, even watching it recently it was highly entertaining! really decent special effects, and although a bit campy very fun to watch with some bonafide creepy moments! Had to post some of the gifs from it below. Highly recommend this movie if you like horror films that are a bit campy to boot.

These were probably my favorite 10 movies when in was in my teens and early 20s... Probably made the biggest impression on me. My love for high fantasy was more when I was very young and then maybe 25+ it rebooted back to my fav. But teenage years are your most impressionable by far.

American History X
Momento
Requiem for a Dream
Blow
Falling Down
MothMan Prophecies
Donnie Darko
Trainspotting
SLC Punk
Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas

TLDR - Drugs

More like if you want a young teenager to stay away from Requiem for a Dream.

my #1 underrated movie is Meet the Feebles, a non fictional account of the everyday happenings of hollywood. with muppets.
one of peter jackson's first films, and IMO his best.
