Default Why don't you raiders just do guild level DKP?

For any given raid target, why not have it announced to each guild that someone intends to engage in an hour, then for each guild that shows up with a raid level force in the next hour, they are awarded some Guild DKP.

At the end of the hour, all guilds bid their GDKP - the highest bidding guild "owns" the kill and loses those GDKP?
  1. Still competitive
  2. Gives each raid level guild a chance
  3. No forced/set rotation
  4. Allows the highest attending guild the most kills/bid ability
  5. A high attending guild can save points for a target they really need

If this is something the raid scene would like, I can put together a site to keep track and add some automation similar to the auction uploader for point tracking, so you could for instance do:

Code:
/send OneOfMyToons [secret-guild-key],[mob-name],[+bid]

ex.:
/send Wonex 362842c5bb3847ec3fbdecb7a84a8692,Nagafen,20
I'd simply parse it out and deduct the bid value from the guild with that secret key (and keep a history + points awarded for the mob based on some table to each guild I received a +bid from).

I guess I didn't add enough "official" or "proposal" to the title [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
