Game Freezes after Attempting to Connect

Hi all. Until recently, I have run EQ splendidly via a wineskin on a Mac for a very long time.

Now, for no good reason (i.e., I have not touched the settings since I logged in yesterday), the game will freeze up when attempting to connect to Project 1999. I have tried clicking "Quick Connect" (both on the server list and from the initial login screen) as well as selecting my server and clicking play. I have also attempted to log into a different server, however it seems determined to freeze me no matter what I'm trying to log into.

If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has a solution to this issue please let me know.

Still can't do anything to connect. Still crashing. Tried updating wine wrappers, tried fresh install, etc. Cannot connect. Never had anything similar happen before.

Ok, I changed the Wineskin Engine to WS9Wine1.7.8, and upon attempting to connect it gives me the message that a "serious error" has occurred and the game must be shut down. However, when I try to gather log info it just remains frozen after the character connect screen.

This is on a fresh install of EQ. Again, never used to have problems but maybe someone who is familiar with using this via Mac can help out given this extra info.
