Spell Research

Myself and two other wizards have attempted to craft the lvl 24 spell Lightning Storm; as well as the 29 spell Energy Storm with no success.

Here are the components. I'm guessing some of the higher ones are broken too but well test them as soon as we can.

I just noticed this as well, did a search, and found that this is the only post that has mentioned it.

The specific error is that you get a "You cannot combine these items in this container type!" message when using a Lexicon to combine either of the following:

Rune of Karana + Rune of Xegony for Lightning Storm
Rune of Karana + Rune of Xegony + Rune of Fuguration for Energy Storm

These were both in classic and are actually useful spells. Please look into this, thanks!

Did you attempt to use the special interface on the lexicon?

I believe it's ctrl+click, then do a search for the specific recipe you want to combine.
See if that works, I was able to combine many spells that way that I couldn't combine the old fashioned way.

just tried these 2 combines as well and they still arent working.

Confirmed that this is happening with my research attempts as well... simply get the message "You cannot combine these items in this container type!".
