Levitate effect after being dumped off boat

I zoned into BB today from TD and was about a boatlength away from the shuttles. In an entertaining karmic twist, however, I kept the levitate effect that you get while on boats, for the duration of my stay in BB, including having SoW cast on me. No effect icons, just the effect. I kept it until I zoned into GFay.

Happened to my druid zoning into TD on the raft from Oasis. Was very nice doing raptors and not have to worry about levitate.. Not really sure what caused it though.
