Plane of Sky Missing Line of Sight Blocker

Island 6 of plane of sky (bee island) has a big gear on it. Every guide I've read that talks about killing the bees talks about fighting behind the gear as it is a safe place to rez and buff. i know the windmills and hills in sky block line of sight again mobs, but it seems there isn't anywhere safe to drop invis on island 6. With the next patching removing stalking probes, some raids will try and fight island 6 bees on island 6, and will be in for a bad time when the gear doesn't give them a safe spot to rez/buff from.

LOS involves the flag of indoor/outdoor IIRC. I can confirm what you are saying as that is where we ran to on our clear of Sky.

The zone already has line of sight blocking from other zone geometry, I just can't find a safe place to drop invis behind the gear, which is the most relevant/important LoS blocker (aside from the hills on spiroc island)

I've rezzed folks behind the gear near the pad on 6 on this server. Have you tested that the gear doesn't block the bees?

I died trying to rez someone behind the gear, then clicked my monk up and couldn't find a safe spot. i was testing right up against the gear. perhaps further back there is LoS blocking from a hill or something. Its kind of annoying to test, heh

i know the dates on them are 2001, 2001, and 2006, and they are full of conflicting info, but I'm not sure there is a better source out there for sky info

testing it again:
standing between the pad and the edge, no agro
walking around the entire pad, no agro
walking up to but not onto to the hill near the pad, agro
walking along the edge of the island behind the gear, no agro
walking toward the gear away from the pad, agro before getting half way to the gear.

seems to be their agro range isn't big enough to cover the entire island, so being near the edge is safe, but the gear doesn't seem to give you any cover at all. i feel like guides would have mentioned this if the only safe spot was such a small area. i don't see why the windmills on 1.5/4/8 and the hills around the zone block LoS but the gear doesn't, hopefully it gets fixed before next patch, since any guild without keys to 7 will be fighting on 6
