I suppose this seems like a client/server sync issue. I've run into a few times now.
More or less I'm grouped up and kill a mob with the corpse visible to me at x,y location. A friend, usually (though not always) in group comes to loot the corpse but doesn't see the corpse at the location that I see it. Instead it's off at some n,m location that is usually somewhat close to where I see the corpse.
I am able to loot the corpse at the location that I see it at, however the friend while standing near me is unable to (he sees the corpse off in the distance at some other spot).
They're also unable to loot the corpse at the location that they see it at.
Not sure if this has been posted about before (I did search and haven't found much).
From what I can gather completely exiting the game and logging back in will resolve the issue, but it's tough to do such a thing when the corpse timer is 6-ish minutes and you're running across SK to loot a floaty cloak (sorry Pullyn!). :)
If there is anything I can do to help investigate this more I'd be willing to help. Even if there is a section of code that I can look at I'd be willing to help put in some time.
