It would be presumptuous of me to assume I am attracted to her in any other way except physical as I do not know her. Regardless of the gender of the source, a person who judges a persons physical attractiveness without the ability or willingness to get to know the person being judged is objectifying that person.

If you judged the attractiveness of the girl in the photo, and every straight male who has laid eyes on it has (those who say they didn't are lying), you are in a sense objectifying her, unless you know her. The only difference between myself and the other straight men who judged that photo is I put my final judgement out as a public statement in hopes of bringing a bit of humor.

This isn't a male chauvinist issue, this is a human issue. It's what we do as human beings.

Which honestly kicks ass because intelligence = incredibly desirable trait in women IMO.

I think it's acceptable to admire another person's physical appearance via teh webz. Especially if you are in the same environment (such as EQ) and so long as you don't start creepin and or be overly inappropriate.

I for one, find it interesting that anyone really cares what people really look like. I mean, if you aren't trying to hook up with someone or somthing in that range, should it really matter? I read stuff like this and go "DAMN! People are dumb..."

Um because there's plenty of people that are self conscious about that and struggle with it for whatever reason. I'm pretty sure they're aware of it and don't need you pointing it out for them.

Just a little suggestion friend. If you're going to continue to troll and make that your thing or whatever. You're going to need to find some new material. The "HA! HA! Virgins" thing will only take you so far. I think you have some potential and I hate to see that go to waste.

Like I said I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of the old school EQers in shape. I used to play from an online gaming place back in 1999 and about 90% of the people that played EQ there were lazy and obese.

I personally agree with the before post stating most of you are probably horrid. Even if someone is a FORUM troll or whatever, you guys probably look like trolls IRL. Unless you wanna provide us with some pics to cruely judge you then maybe you should leave some of the people that are just here for a good time alone.

P.S.- It's easy to be an internet tough guy. It's take more control for your itchy typing fingers to just go doing something else. Open up word-pad and write down your feelings or something, that way when you commit suicide the police will have something to go on.

I don't really care to defend anyone in particular, but damn -- some of y'all can be mean. What's the goal of being so harsh on the way someone looks? Make them cry? Make them self-conscious? I just don't get it, I guess. It's not like some of you are even trying to be funny; just mean.

And I don't know if it really counts as forum trolling if you post pictures of yourself in the RL picture thread. Personally, it's not for me -- mostly because I'm taking the fact that I play an MMORPG with me to the grave. But hey, if people get their jollies by posting pictures of themselves online, why steal that little bit of happiness from them?
