These also jumps in if you try a PvP situation..




They cast fire spells like crazy, so be sure to have some sort of fire protection.


Should also fire damage shield themselves.

Should not have a poison proc like other snakes.

Spell I think was... LavaCrawlerBurst or something along those lines.

The closest spell I could find for this was.. SnakeEleFireBurst, which seems appropriate for a proc. As far as a damage shield, any references?

Damage shield was same as fire ele. SnakeEleFireBurst is it. You are a saint.

Yaw. I definitely remember seeing them laying around in the lava pools and dsing themselves. Only things that didn't in LS (aside from named like nightmare/Sir Lindeal/gobs etc) were the basilisks, rock dervs and drakes.

Also, the drakes AoE would hit other NPCs nearby (including other drakes) and cause them to attack said drake.

Imps should be summoned too while we're talkin' lavastorm.

Lava duct crawler definitely no DS and the spider from solb.

Lava crawler is a rock snake native to the mountains of Lava Storm. It appears the fire snake burst is also an aoe and should hit nearby NPCs causing them to attack it.

Completely different NPCs in different zones.

LDC/lava beetle, neither had DS. But dot vs fire proc is on point.

Yaw. Can't wait to see people try to soulfire people tank him/melee him in the face after :). It's a huge change to the head of KC, soon to be returned to his former glory (also impacts innate procs across the board!).

Snake Fire Burst from live... he casted it as much as any rooted mob would cast a spell wasn't just a proc.

It definitely didn't burn me when I melee'd it, fire elementals did.

All I got it posts from that era saying "these were not meant for melees to kill" and people having to blow lay hands and still barely winning for any hint at a DS.

For what its worth, I remember seeing them around lava pools fire shielding themselves.

Another difference from live is the fire drakes breath wouldn't hit nearby NPCs, which it should be doing here.

That's all I got on LS. Shit looks real classic otherwise.

Eh I'd want to say I had seen them do it on their own for sure. I'll walk away happy with just snake fire burst commonly casted and no poison.

They straight casted it outside of melee outside of a melee proc tho from my live test. Frequency similar to drake breath. It was a short range spell like ice spear of solist. Just wanted to be clear on that one.

I can make it either a proc, or a cast, but I need to know which. The range of the spell if cast is 110.
