Ground Spawns

A number of zones had ground spawns in vanilla EQ, and this continued on into subsequent expansions.

Zones currently don't seem to have ground spawns, and I am wondering: are there any plans to introduce them, and if so, when might this happen?

I found the ancient coin in the water in Qeynos... not sure if that counts though.

Ground spawns were pretty much all missing. They have been individually added back during quest fabrication or with solid evidence of a missing one. I think I've probably added 50 different spawns.

I can add ground spawns wherever they are needed.. the information that is needed.

-zone/loc
-respawn time of the item
-graphic the item should have as a ground spawn

There should be 3 ground spawns of Berries in MT that are used the the quest Cleric Supplies.

The locs for these spawns in Misty Thicket are:
+824, -1551
+919, -1511
+850, -1435

Spawn time is between 6-7 minutes (Note: Spawn time is from non-classic source but it was the best I could find. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=773 Mar 16th 2004)

Implemented the only mentioned ground spawns here. Should be in the next db update.

Sorry for the bump here, but figured it is better than making a new thread for the same issue.

Have ground spawns been fixed or are some still missing? I am attempting to find out if Moss Covered Drake Scales should be spawning or not:

It is true I cannot find any solid evidence dating before 2002, but the photos for both the scale and also Deep Muses Gauntlets (which uses the scale) looks pretty classic to me.

Ultimately, I am trying to brew Superior Lichen Spirits.

EDIT: Found mention of the scales in March of 2001 http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/skills.html?skill=13&page=2#m98406977819377 still after Velious release but...
