View Full Version : NPC Spawn Issue: Weird pathing/warping mobs inside Cazic Thule, near TR area

We had a low 30s group hunting in Cazic Thule last night, and we all noticed that mobs don't seem to be behaving correctly in/around the throne room area on the west side of the zone. First, we were sitting in the yard in front of the TR (near /loc 200, 200) and mobs would warp all over the place when they tried to run at low health. It seemed like they would run towards the south wall and then warp behind us to the exit door on the east wall and then continue running that way, down the hall towards the CY. This part was more of a minor annoyance than anything, but I still thought it worth mentioning first.

We then tried to move into the TR building and stopped at the foot of the stairs to the second floor (this was near /loc 350, 375). This turned out to be an even buggier spot. Our puller would try to bring 2-3 mobs at a time from the upstairs rooms, but they would warp all over (seemingly between floors) and eventually bring 7-8 friends to wipe us. The warping after running at low health issue was happening here, too. There were also two instances where we had three mobs who either agro'd us through a wall (through the floor/ceiling?) or all three spawned on top of us at the exact same time, which shouldn't be the case because we were staggering respawns. Whatever the issue, each of these occurrences happened while all six of us were medding and three mobs just randomy showed up all at once to start beating on us.

After that we moved to the croc ponds down below and didn't notice any major issues there. I'd love to keep hunting here for a couple more levels, but the pathing issues we experienced last night make me pretty wary to try and get another group going. I understand this is probably pretty low priority, but it would be great if someone could eventually take a look at the pathing in this area. :)
