View Full Version : Pathing Pathing in unrest is ridiculous

The pathing in Unrest was doing quite well until the recent patch(s) . . . now main room is impossible to camp and always empty due to no group being able to camp there.

Mobs do incredibly strange things, including aggro through the floor, jumping through ceilings, falling through the floor, pathing from 1st floor up to 2nd floor and back down.. its just impossible.

Please address this and in the least just revert back to the old pathing. Until then EQ has lost one its most famous camps :/

In fairness though... classic Unrest (and all outdoor zones, PoHate among them) were pretty famous for aggroing through walls and ceilings.

I do agree it is a bit sketchy right now, but before it felt a bit too safe and not classic.

The primary thing I'm seeing is mobs pathing on floors they shouldn't be on.

I agree that a few bugs here and there are fine - so long as they are classic. This is not even remotely close to classic.

We're talking about a completely unusable camp now. aside from power-leveling.

Keep in mind that I've tried 6 different full groups over the last few days there on my level 20 toon. 1st pull of almost any mob in the main room = total wipe or running to zone. It isn't someone else training or a bad pull, it's just upstairs mobs will come running after every pull no matter what.

Unrest is such a cool zone, it would be a shame to see that camp go to waste and only be usable by power-levelers.

I believe most of these issues were resolved, reply here if you still see this happening with specifics.
