Founy Jestands

So last time doing my ragebringer I pick pocketed Founy Jestands and the DE Rogue guildmaster and got the piece both times first try. How come now though I have watched this Founy Jestands guy respawn over 30 times and he still doesn't have his common item? Is this broken at the moment or am I just getting really unlucky?

Did you try to PP him multiple times on each spawn? I think it took me ~15 attempts to get the page from the DE. I've only tried maybe 10 times on Founy, but have yet to get a page yet.

It was super easy the first time around and wouldn't be in this predicament if the sealed box didnt poof because I was hidden. I have seen this dude over 20 different times and tried to pick pocket at least 10 times each. The wiki says its common and my Pick Pocket has been maxxed.

You got lucky the first time. Based on my experience he has it about one time in 10. Be sure to pick until pockets empty msg. Keep in mind other rogues could be getting it first also.

I've tried PP Founy Jestands until he attacks. Then when he resets repeat. I've never gotten an empty message. I've also had two 60 rogues to kill him after I was attacked to allow for quicker respawns. 7 minutes compared to 72. I've gotten conflicting info in-game and would like clarification from the rogue community since the wiki for the quest just says to PP and that you may not get the piece. Pretty vague.

1. Do we keep pickpocketing until he attacks then stop and let him reset? Or keep at it until respawn?
2. Do we stop if we get coin first, as an indicator that he doesn't have the message? Keep going?
3. Is it better to sneak since he is amiable to begin with, or does it matter? I can see sneaking if your faction is shot.
4. Does level matter? The quest says level 50+ to interact with NPC in Qeynos Sewers but nothing about getting the pages.

These are a few of the things I've been told by different rogues since trying for the page on Founy Jestands. If it's the same for Tani N'Mar then someone can chime in.

I'm level 30 and my pickpocket is max for the level. I got the page from Tani the first try so maybe just luck of the draw but confirmed info is better than well try but you may not get it. Thanks for any help not only for me but all rogues who would like to know.

Exactly This. Rogue epic MQ'ers log their rogues each game morning at 9 am, pickpocket him when he spawns till he is empty (no empty pockets message, but when he runs out of coin you have an empty Founy).

1) Pickpocket till no coin left, and maybe a time or two extra just in case.
2) Keep going even if he starts with coin. I've gotten parchment after several coin pickpockets preceding it
3) faction is irrelevant for pickpocket
4) level does not matter for pickpocketing. Many rogue farmers do it with rouges as low as 9-15 (pickpocket skilsl of roughly 60)

Tani is much more generous than Founy I have found. just keep at it unfortunately, but no bug here
