heres the current issue with this zone:

-Aggro range needs fixing, it doesnt feel right to be able to cast on a fear mob and it not aggroing beforehand. This makes the zone VERY trivial.

-mobs resists got changed last patch and are now too easy, everything lands full and this shouldnt be the case. Amygdalan warriors being the worst case, they used to be next to magic immune and are now easily mezzables.

-Amygdalan knights not HT'ing on pulls or anytime really.

-Golems not DT'ing, making them more than trivial

-used to be one glare lord roaming all along the zone walls.

I agree, I don't know if we just got that much better, or if this zone actually got easier after the patch, but it was a breeze. I'm all for making this more difficult, as long as the zone doesn't get locked for 2 weeks again.

However, on live, we always did an invis to west wall and fight approach. We would move along the wall to the north, and I never ever remember a glare lord pathing close enough to the walls to aggro. Those were always some of the last mobs to die.

Edit: To add to the resists thing... Lava Bolt rarely hit for full, but I also think I only got like 1 full resist the entire clear.

There were a few camps last night I was able to cast harmony before aggro range kicked in.

Hmm, something may have been lost in the translation, it was at one time beyond visual range for aggro. Aggro range was set to over 3 times a normal mob. I'll have one of the DB guys add in another factor or two..

Not sure what happened to the golems.....

Agro range was definitely off, I zoned in uninvis and stared at a spider and imp that were about 10 feet away from me for a good 20 seconds before a gorilla finally agroed me and they followed along.

TBH, I don't recall the minis DTing until Cazic was revamped in velious and they started dropping his old loot. I could be wrong on that though, memory of fear in classic is a little hazy.

if ct was up, they'd aggro him and dt.

The DTing should be working properly soon. Its CT that should be doing the DT through the golems.

You hit one of Cazic Thule's immediate family. This consists of 4 mobs - Fright, Dread, Terror, and Dracoliche. The instant anyone hits any of these mobs CT will Zap them.

* Golems and the dracholiche will now DT the first aggro and begin CT's Death Touch cycle to all that do not camp out.

This should take effect next update :-)

*EDIT* This will only happen if CT is up of course!
