The faction adjustments for Bandages for Honeybugger are not working correctly. After turning in ~100 bandages, my faction has not risen with Deeppockets, yet I'm now completely bottomed out scowling on Coalition of Tradefolk Illegal. I had run a ton of notes for Janam and Rebby before doing this quest and was almost kindly with them before this happened.

I left an in game petition if you could please fix my faction.

What race are you? Cause that can have a big reason why your still scowling and also don't forget, you lose faction ALOT quicker then you gain it. Especially if what your trying to gain is a secondary faction gain. Example- the red wine quest in Neriak, you get like 10+ faction with the dark bargainers yet you only get like 1 faction with darkguard(whatever it guard faction is) inner and outer.

I'm not saying that the faction part with the deeppockets aren't broken, just giving you a warning

When I did this quest on live, ~100 bandages would have noticeably increased my DeepPockets faction (the primary faction for this quest) without any real damage to my Coalition of Tradefolk Illegal faction. Here, I started apprehensive with DeepPockets and ended up the same. I started almost kindly with Coalition of Tradefolk Illegal and bottomed out on scowling. There is no way the faction adjustments on this quest aren't bugged. The values for these two factions are probably reversed.

I'm human btw, which shouldn't affect why I went from very good faction to bottomed out scowling almost instantly.

When this quest was written, there was no way to know the correct amount of +/- of the faction adjustments. If eqlive is showing the values now, that is one place.

Aside from that, we will need more information.

The best source on this is the Iksar Faction Handbook, basically the goto for faction fixing for Ikky monks. It says.

Step One (of one)
Get through Rivervale to Misty Thicket (Somehow). In the far SouthEastern corner is the hut of Joogl Honeybugger, who has a nasty Bixie-sting which needs a bandage. Ofcourse sneaking and Wolf Form etc will be nescesary. I have heard anything from 400 to 800 bandages are needed to fix Rivervale faction, and I am currently camped in Rivervale, carrying 600 (-But I still need to make the dash through the city). The only faction this WON'T fix is the Bristlebane Clerics, but careful sneaking and/or running when entering Rivervale will allow you to enter.

Faction Movement:
+Deeppockets (Rivervale Rogues)
+Guardians of the Vale (Guards and Warriors)
+Mayor Gubbin (The head Honcho of Rivervale)
+Rivervale Merchants
-Coalition of Tradesfolk, Illegal (-But apparently a very small loss)

The faction loss with Illegal should be very small, especially because the faction guide's first step is to max out the illegal faction with the Rebby quest line. (http://mentalized.net/journal/2003/07/30/the_iksar_handbook_of_infiltration/)

So yeah, the negative hits on illegal are way too harsh here, according to this guide.
