Scenario:
I had a full inventory of food and water and should not have been hungry or thirsty while alive. I then got ganked and killed by a player.

I then could not regen any mana immediately after respawning. It's like it instantly maxed out the level of thirst/hunger.

I had no weapon, no money, no mana regen so I was completely defenseless. Most people would have to just loot and scoot at that point.

My understanding is even if you were full (or at least not hungry) while alive, you become hungry/thirsty when you die. However, it should be at the very first level where you can still cast (rebuff/make food+water), not maxed out where you can't regen mana.

9/10 times I can med to full, rebuff, and go a very long time after dying and still regen mana and cast spells without water.

I have asked a few other casters and they have had this happen before and couldn't explain why it does sometimes and not others. It's only happened once to me so it's very sporadic.

happens all the time. it happened to my wiz once and i was bound in kunark. I had to make a level 1 iksar, farm a little gold and buy some water then drop it at my wizard. relog wiz and drink. i wish you would respawn not hungry/thirsty :/ happens on samwise too but im able to just forage a drink then summon drink with my first 30 mana or so. id say it happens a 3rd of the time for me.

casters used to respawn with w/e mana they had left before they died or full mana (cant remember which.) i kind of wish we still had it but the change was to prevent bind rushing which a lot of people would do on here.
