Should be 2 in front, one out to the side
Mobs should be sitting when they spawn
And sit again when they return to their spawn point due to no aggro
Prof very hard to find but I am sure

I can confirm this from my memory but proof....I'll dig but I doubt it will be found.

It wasn't a guaranteed spawn but yes, there could be a mummy at the spire. He would cause me much grief as a lowbie necro camping skeletons here on live.

Zombie uncommon, lesser mummy rare as spawns

Yea, Nigron's commentary matches my recollections from summer 1999 on Prexus =P.
It was a pretty good little camp once you moved off the log.

I only played dark elves on live and I 100% remember the zombies and mummies sitting, less sure about skeletons. And ffs decaying skeletons weren't kos.

Also whenever a mummy spawned it was train time at the newbie log hehehehhe.
I'm confused, aren't there already 3 spawns at the wiz ring in Nektulos? I thought they could potentially spawn as skeles, zombies, or mummies already. Is it just the positioning of these mobs that the bug report is about?

spawned sitting and spawned locations.
I'm willing to come to the table on the mobs should at least spawn as sitting and sit again when they return
It was cool because it gave this feeling that there were piles of bones that would come to life and attack you at this strange ruin (you later learned was a wizard portal!)
I think the agro radius came/assist down to your level vs the skeletons and the fuckin mummy you'd always have to train to the guards. I know that in seb 58+ I could single pull up until to the first tri-spawn that sometimes has a bug. So level definitely had something to do with whether things assisted or not in some cases but not all. Completely unsure of what rhyme or reason existed for that. Specs for instance in oasis if you were like lvl 24 and hit one, a fuckload would come but at later levels only you'd only get singles and doubles.
As far as the spawn locations I don't even know how to prove it, its a super obscure topic where there's no chance of prof outside someone's harddrive having an SS of it but otherwise burned into my memory. All I can really say is they definitely didn't spawn one on each side of the front.
The far undead ruins near EC they would also spawn sitting.
Just kind of cool to root one and see another pile of bones come to life and chase you.
I'm sure this ranks as high as guild names on the same line as far as "who gives a fuck" but... I mean.. little things like this do nostalgia the heck out of new and old players
Bonus: If you can make decaying skeles in Nektulos not kos or assist, but skeletons in Freeport stay scowl and attack... will love you long time
