He isn't of the Corrupt Qeynos Guards faction and this has caused me some distraught when doing a quest. Particularly when he hit me in the face for double 150's. My quest difficulty sky-rocketed from level 1 to about level 50 just like that.

Lieutenant Dagarok is not a member of the Corrupt Guards, he's a member of the Bloodsabers.

His primary faction is Corrupt Qeynos Guards. He was never primarily considered Bloodsaber. I have only played original pre-kunark so if he is now Bloodsaber then it is a new change. If you read over the thread, most people become KoS with him due to handing in too many gnoll fangs. I did the samething when I first started and quickly became KoS to the guards. This guy is unforgettable. Not to mention, most of the humans that start in qeynos that aren't evil are KoS to Bloodsabers.

Tovax Vmar was on Bloodsabers and used to gank low level players all the time.

"I am KOS to Corrupt Guards and I really hate this Mofo. He has killed me three times and it drives me crazy."

"Travel Advisory - as a 41st level druid KOS to corrupt guards, I ALWAYS am sure to use camo on myself when entering Dagarok's domain"

"I just recently became KOS to the corrupt guards, but never noticed because most of them are green. This guy could have been there all along and I doubt I would have noticed. Good reason to fix faction with them. =)"

"Everyone should do "The Crate (evil)" quest to gain faction with Dagarok before getting kos. I did the quest to gain Bloodsaber faction, and I discovered that Corrupt Qeynos Guards went up very quickly. I started out dubiously and in just 11 quests, he was indiffrently. After 55 times (Bloodsaber goes up VERY slowly :) Dagarok was ally to me :)"

"This prick dose not need to be here. There is no reason to put a 50 lvl corupt guard that agross by just geting to close in NQ. I am tired of spending an hour trying to get my body back twice in a town My faction can't get any higher"

Not to be annoying, but I'm pretty sure that in the quest that's mentioned in that post, both factions go up, and he/she is just giving an explanation as to why he/she would do 55 turn-ins (ie, he/she needed to get his/her bloodsaber faction up). So it's still possible from the (somewhat poorly written) post that Dagarok is still on corrupt guards.

I don't know if you misread that or not but let me explain to you what he said.

After 55 times (Bloodsaber goes up VERY slowly Dagarok was ally to me "

"in just" also known as "not many" "a few" "a short time and/or amount"

"I discovered that Corrupt Qeynos Guards went up very quickly. I started out dubiously and in just 11 quests, he (Lt. Dagarok) was indiffrently."

He is saying the CQG faction when up very quickly and Lt. Dagarok quickly become indifferently.

I apologize for not following your researching thread's orders.

When you deal with content, you run across conflicting information all the time. The tricky part is differentiating which is the most accurate. The average player who comes across someone who looks like a guard and attacks, is going to assume that they are a Corrupt Guard. Especially given that the two factions don't have a whole lot delineating them, and the majority of things that will give faction hits for one, will give faction hits for both.

It's like Crusader Quarg in Field of bone. I guarantee you we will get bug reports about him not being on Crusader faction.

I've come across Lieutenant Dagarok's information repeatedly while researching, so it's not a topic that's unfamiliar to me.

I can't tell if you're serious or you are talking about different information. Are you saying that information from that quote is conflicting?

"Everyone should do "The Crate (evil)" quest to gain faction with Dagarok before getting kos. I did the quest to gain Bloodsaber faction, and I discovered that Corrupt Qeynos Guards went up very quickly. I started out dubiously and in just 11 quests, he was indiffrently. After 55 times (Bloodsaber goes up VERY slowly Dagarok was ally to me"

He is saying "I discovered that Corrupt Qeynos Guards went up very quickly. I started out dubiously with the Corrupt Qeynos Guards and in just 11 quests, Lt. Dagarok, of the CQG, was indifferently towards me."

He apparently also needed faction with Bloodsabers and the faction with them raise much slower in compariosn to CQG. So "After 55 times (Bloodsaber goes up VERY slowly) Dagarok was ally to me" in order to raise his Bloodsaber to what he deemed acceptable, he was considered ally to Lt. Dagarok at that time which makes sense since CQG increased at a much faster rate.

Either way, he still saying that Dagarok is of CQG.

If you take what the OP wrote out of context and completely ignore the rest what was said..then yes it may seem conflicting. (AKA "After 55 times (Bloodsaber goes up VERY slowly) Dagarok was ally to me ")

It doesn't matter what they assume, only what they know. From the cries of the playerbase, we know that players had primarily worked toward increasing their faction with CQG in order to offset Lt. Dagarok's rampage, not Bloodsaber. We can deduce that had it not worked the players would have been frustrated and asked what faction he really was in order to stop dying but this is not the case. Thus they had, to some degree, results (and in some cases considerable results like the case above). I am aware that some of the faction hits that adjust QGS also change Bloodsaber.

The average player who comes across someone who looks like a guard and attacks, is going to assume that they are a Corrupt Guard.

Players will make mistakes - that is true, everyone is human. If only a small number (one or two) had suggested it and some are disagreeing then it is likely possible someone had made a miscalculation. However when a larger number (a group) of individuals are agreeing and none disagreeing - it is more likely then not going to be true.

Finally, if you don't or do want to change it is fine with me. My only intent was to help.

Sorry to bump this again but the Lt. and I are having a tissy fit. I'm not exactly sure where the issue lies but the problem is as follow: Lt. Dagarok is supposedly under Bloodsaber faction(according to this thread) but the rest of the entire Bloodsaber faction(those in the sewers) considers my DE Necromancer as amiably but Lt. Rapesyourkids (and Tovax as well) are both now threateningly. To top it off, the faction adjustment that took me from dubiously to threateningly was due to the Gnoll Fang quest(http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=544) with Captain Tillin in South Qeynos. The quest only reduces your faction with Corrupt Qeynos Guards and Circle Of Unseen Hands, nonewhatsoever with Bloodsabers. Keep in mind, the Qeynos Guards(Good) consider me kindly and the Corrupt Qeynos Guards(Evil!) consider me amiably as well.

Why did the quest cause a reduction in faction with the Lt. even though it wasn't listed?

P.S. - he raped me again.
