I remember this fight involving far more ass puckering when defensive dropped, not BP heals for 473 damage. The problem appears to be his DA/DW chance getting set to near 0. He almost always gets 1 attack per round now. Right now I almost think Sakuragi could kill him with a Druid using the Robe of the Spring, and we can't let the druids get cocky now, can we? :D

If Ivandyr's Hoop posed an issue for killing 32k Dragons. Donal's certainly poses an issue for mobs that can't kill a warrior in 20 seconds.

One poor design choice that resulted in a unclassic nerf (and an entire class being nerfed and made less useful on most raids in the process) shouldn't be used as reasoning to make another poor design choice that leads to more unclassic nerfs. That makes absolutely zero sense. And nerfing Donal's BP at this point in kunark does nothing except for penalize those that joined the sever more recently (like myself) or that spent many months (or years) saving up 300k+ to buy a Donal's BP.. while other people have been given 3+ years to amass large hordes of platinum with their unnerfed BPs. This just further widens the gap between long time players and newer players on the server, and I don't see how that would benefit the server any.

And I do agree that Xenovorash (not Vorash) is way too easy at the moment. He should be on par with Vorash difficulty wise but he is currently a much easier fight than Vorash.

Nikkanu, having BP clerics constantly farming Ragefire/Monk Epics/Chardok is not good for the server, and I say that with the A-Team having just bought a Donal's BP this month. There is a reason Verant nerfed the fuck out of that thing within months. It's probably the most OP item on the server at the moment.

Back to the original topic, if Xenevorash is getting a proper number of attacks (3-4 most rounds) he's quite dangerous, although IMHO Vorash is always the most dangerous one because its so difficult for a warrior to keep him sufficiently enraged while constantly stunned.

I honestly don't see how making epics more available for people that lack a big guild to take down the mobs is a bad thing. I have helped numerous clerics kill ragefire and get their hearts. And I have helped numerous monks get their epics when they wouldn't have been able to otherwise. I have helped push prices of monk epics down from 100-120k to under 90k making it available to a larger % of the player base. Since I am not preventing other people from getting epics or cock blocking their mobs how is this a negative? There are a lot of people that are very thankful and appreciate my services.

I agree, 100%, this is spot on (as someone who has done this fight on live and on p99 more times than I can count). Vorash should be the harder of the two since his aoe stun is pretty much impossible to outrange for the tank. but Xenovorash should nearly the same fight -just with a larger hit box making his aoe easier to outrange for the tank.

I have no idea where this is coming from, because real clerics get cockblocked by the Ragefire mafia all the time. Ask any new cleric, and they'll say 'yeah I just gave up and bought one'. The monk fangs aren't so bad, of course, which is why I do them instead of Ragefire.

Also, it's supposed to be an epic. You level up and make friends and they help you with some encounters. Not 'buy for 20k in EC'. Obviously this is somewhat hypocritical of me because I do it too, but I wish the rules would change a bit there. Just like how I wish the spore king groups had to actually be on his spawn point.

Anyway, we are far afield of the OP. Thanks for fixing it, Alunova, and I'll give him a try after the next patch sometime.
