Thankfully, Haynar has fixed the egregious run speed issues introduced by the june 11th patch.

Mob speed fix is coded. Just waiting for it to patch out to the servers.

While it's much better, mob runspeed (or mobs' ability to his strafing targets / melee hit range) is still different than prior to june 11th. Prior to that patch, you could strafe either left or right, and hit mobs with a 30 point range aoe without taking hits. With the recent adjustments, this has been nerfed, as occasionally a mob will suddenly jump forward, ahead of the rest of the mobs, and land a melee attack.

Please investigate if this is an unintentional change to kiting. It may be worth considering a rollback given the number of regressions introduced by the june 11th patch.
