Form of the Great Wolf problems

This level 44 spell does not cast over the older version of wolf form.

It turns me into a human, not a wolf, and I don't get the wolf faction.

OK if I go back to all the old blurry textures I now look like a wolf, but I still am on the wrong faction and agro things I should not in wolf form. My wolf still does not have a sit animation either.

If you see humans for any wolf, you don't have the right files. Most often people with this issue are using the lite client.

Nope, I was using the full client. The problem happens when people use the updated textures linked in the thread to "significantly improve eqs graphics".

It would be great if I could use the new textures and still have my wolf work, what old textures would I need to use to fix that?

Character models are zone_chr.s3d, zone textures are zone.s3d. All that replaced was your zone textures, and shouldn't have had any impact on your models. I use them with no problem. You probably had an error during the file modifications. Try disabling texture caching, reinstalling/getting replacement {globals and growthplane} _chr.s3d and make sure you have the correct global file from eqchangesv3.zip.

Would like to add that Form of the Great Wolf does not adjust my faction in MM! Tested all 4 druid wolf forms, and only the best one does not make me threateningly from KOS. I was max KOS before the recent faction updates but am not yet again after a few dozen kills. Something to do with a difference race of wolf maybe?

Also noticed that FotGW is inferior to Wolf Form, Greater Wolf Form, and Share Wolf Form. It should overwrite based on its movement speed which is 1% faster than SoW and other wolf form spells for exactly that reason. So odd..

Wolf form isn't a magical panacea that always increases faction with every faction in the game.
