Monster specials

My memory is a little fuzzy here, but here are a few creatures which I seem to recollect having some sort of special:

Sonic bats had some sort of stun.

Spectres had....something. I forget the details.

Mushroom men in Unrest liked to cast slow on melees.

I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but I know what I know, and I know what I don't know, and in this case I'm somewhere in the middle--unsure. I trust another poster can confirm or deny as necessary.

Correct, sonic bats had a stun, spectres had a lifetap.

I have seen the spectres life tap each other when charm killing them.

That's curious drplump. I've fought a LOT of spectres (in various zones), I have yet to have any of them use a special on me, ever. Perhaps it's coded but not being used against player characters for some reason?
