I did a search to see if any of this had been brought up before and didn't see anything, so here goes: Nektulos Forest has some incorrect spawns. I literally spent hundreds of hours exploring the original Nektulos on EQLive, so while most of the spawns in Nektulos are good in high traffic areas, there are some in lower traffic areas (like the entire western side of the zone) that are a bit off.
Static Undead Spawns
The Undead that statically spawn at the wizard portal and monolith (southeast corner of the zone) seem to have the wrong chance to spawn. It should be something closer to this:
50% chance it's a skeleton
25% chance it's a decaying skeleton (currently not present)
20% chance it's a zombie
5% chance it's a lesser mummy
Wizard Portal
The undead spawning around the wizard portal doesn't seem to match what I saw Live in 1999:

Also these should all be static spawns. On P1999 currently when the southern spawn produces a mummy, the mummy will occasionally decide to take a stroll across the zone.
Halfling Camps:
On EQLive in 1999 there was exactly one leatherfoot deputy in all of Nek Forest. This guy would path from the druid circle south to the river camp where Master Whoopal hangs out, and then head down to the southern camp. At each camp the deputy would hang out for about 3-5 minutes, and then move on to the next camp in line, then start all over again.
In P1999 there are about 6 Leatherfoot deputies in the zone, with 4 of them being static spawns in the low level halfling camps. This effectively makes those camps off limits to low level players because the deputies are level 20, while the camps they're in are level 5-10.
Decaying Initiate & wandering Zombie
Near the zone to Lavastorm in the northwest area of the zone there is a single static spawn that produces a Decaying Initiate. This is from when they added in newbie armor quests to Nektulos and shouldn't be in P1999.
There is also a wandering zombie that paths from near the druid ring to the path to lavastorm that shouldn't be in P1999.
Fire Beetles and Spiderlings
For some reason if I'm fighting a spiderling and a fire beetle walks by, it'll start attacking me. This wouldn't happen on Live. Fire beetles would assist other fire beetles and spiderlings would assist other spiderlings, but fire beetles would not assist spiderlings.
Stone & Iron Guardians
There are far too many of these, and their pathing doesn't match Live in 1999, but it's pretty close. I seem to remember there only being 1 stone guardian and 1 iron guardian, and their pathing didn't come as close to the Druid circle as it does currently.
Also, they don't kill anything while they're patrolling. They will pass by all kinds of snakes, skeletons and so on. I don't know if it's because their awareness radius is set too low or not, because I was able to get one to help me from the wandering zombie once, but I had to basically run over the guardian with it to get it to aggro the zombie.
That's pretty much all I can think of. Other that these little quirks P1999 is awesome and Nektulos looks and feels like the real thing. Great job!
