Welcome to the first in a grand series of posts that detail the various upgrades that occurred across the Velious timeline on a per mob basis to allow for easier collection and discussion of information.
I would like to thank Skydash, Daldaen, and others for helping collect this information over the last year.
To start off, there were two major upgrade points in Velious.
June 2001 (http://www.legacyofsteel.net/Archives/Post/2001-06-28) - First Velious wide item upgrade. Many ToV and Kael items received massive upgrades to set these items apart from old world items.
October 2001 (http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/20011008.html) - Game wide 2 hander update, many two-handers that were upgraded in June 2001, were upgraded even more so in this patch. Also introduction of new rogue and monk weapons in NToV.
