/who all crystal (caverns) not working

Perhaps the zone name is different but when typing /w all crystal or any variation of that, we weren't able to pull up the folks in crystal caverns.

Any info on if this is a bug or if there's a specific zone name?

Try picking someone's name who's definitely in CC (non-anon) and doing a /who all (name), should give you the zone code after the rest of their info.

Yep, I did just that. It's definitely "crystal", but that does not work when attempting to do /who all crystal.

I feel that this is a big factor in that zone not being more populated. It's a bit of a trek to get to and peeps aren't going to travel all that way to try and figure out if there are groups etc. Any updates on this getting fixed?

try it with the quotes itself, one at first, two if not, ' ' '' '' -- worked for me with kedge keep back in the day who was also not showing up on any who list

Appreciate the suggestion. My guildie is in the zone now and i tried /who all crystal, /who all 'crystal' and /who all "crystal" that's what you meant right? None of those worked unfortunately.

I just found out about the trick to put quotes around dumb guild names that start with unwhoable words like The, so I tried it with Crystal (Caverns). It doesn't work. I still can't get Crystal (Caverns) results on /who all queries. Please fix this.

if you specify race and then crystal it works.

I bet if you could /who all crystal there would be more pickup groups there. Mistmoore is bad. Get out of Mistmoore and into Crystal Caverns. It's a good zone.

When trying to see who is in Crystal Caverns, the /who all is not working. I confirmed with myself in the zone. A /who all sonorod reports back ZONE: crystal. But when doing /who all crystal the game reports there are no matches.

I stumbled on a client-side fix for this issue today. Titanium client looks for race names in dbstr_us.txt. By changing four lines in that file, my "/who all crystal" started working.

I changed:

Applying the P99 v56 patch file reverted this fix for me. I had to edit those particular lines again.

Thank you. While it's an ok client-side workaround, a server-side code change might be preferable. In fact, it looks like a P99 dev already implemented this 2010 fix for Kedge Keep and Trakanon's Teeth (https://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=32532).
And the current EQEmu SendWhoAll function (https://github.com/EQEmu/Server/blob/934ff3dadfa6fe50163810318adb8412287172de/world/clientlist.cpp#L511) has a condition for Crystal Caverns as well in world/clientlist.cpp.
